London police have confirmed that human remains found in Thames Centre earlier this year belong to Tyler McMichael, who was reported missing in May 2019. The remains were discovered on February 15th by the Ontario Provincial Police.

At the time of his disappearance, McMichael was last seen in the area of Commissioners Road East and Wellington Road on May 24th, 2019, and it was believed he was traveling to the Chatham area on a bicycle. Police continued to release updates on his case following his disappearance, including a renewed search last May.

London police have not disclosed any details about how McMichael may have died or what led to the discovery of his remains. The OPP’s investigation into his disappearance and the discovery of his remains is still ongoing.

The police have urged anyone with information regarding the case to come forward and contact the authorities.
