Sarnia police have identified human remains found last weekend south of the city.
Police say an autopsy confirmed the remains belonged to Bradley James Ogilvie, who had been missing since November of 2023.
The remains were found on a property on LaSalle Line, just east of Highway 40, on Saturday.
Police announced first-degree murder charges against three people in October 2024, who they say are connected to Ogilvie’s death and were the last people he was seen with alive.
The three suspects remain in custody.
Police are unable to provide any further information as this matter remains before the courts.
“On behalf of the Sarnia Police Service, we extend our deepest condolences to Bradley’s family and friends. It is our sincere hope that his recovery and return to his family will provide them a small measure of comfort and closure in this difficult time,” said Chief Derek Davis.
