Human remains found in Paradise, Newfoundland identified as missing man Trevor Hamlyn

Police have identified the human remains found in Paradise this week as those of Trevor Hamlyn, who went missing four years ago.
Hamlyn disappeared from his home on Imogene Crescent in Paradise in 2018. Today, his family released a statement on Facebook, saying “after four long years, we can finally say Trevor has been found and we are able to get the closure we desperately need.”
Hamlyn’s remains were found Monday morning by a man walking his dog in the area of Three Island Pond. The cause of death has not been determined.
