Hamilton Police Request Assistance in Identifying Deceased Male

Police are asking for help in identifying a deceased male located 150 feet south of the Rail Trail, between Blake Street and Norway Avenue, in Hamilton.

On Sunday, November 13, 2022, around 2:00 p.m., a citizen observed a deceased male in the wooded area of the Rail Trail, close to 21 Ben Lomond Place.

The deceased male had no identification and there have been no inquiries or missing persons matching his profile reported to date. The body was sent to the Centre of Forensic Sciences at which time confirmation on the male’s description was provided.

Police are not investigating this death as suspicious in nature.

Description:

white male, 25-40 years old
medium build (approx. 180lbs)
average build (approx. 6’)
short brown straight hair with light-coloured thin beard
light eye colour
no specific scars, marks, tattoos or deformities
dark brown staining of teeth, possible scar on forehead, possible accessory left nipple

Clothing Description:

black baseball cap
green and blue windbreaker
blue zip up sweater
camouflage t-shirt
black jeans
hiking boots
