On May 3rd 2017, Hamilton Police responded to a suspicious circumstances call in the area of King Street East and Wentworth Street North in the City of Hamilton. On May 24th 2017, Hamilton Police responded to another suspicious circumstances call in the same area.
The ongoing investigation revealed that on May 3rd, 2017, 71 year old Giovanni Corda of Hamilton approached a 12 year old female and invited her to his residence for singing lessons and to have her picture taken.
Further investigation revealed that on the 24th of May 2017, Giovanni Corda had enticed a 5 year old female to accompany him to his residence without the permission or knowledge of her parents.
On June 6th, 2017, Giovanni Corda was arrested and a search warrant executed at his residence. Giovanni Corda was lodged in custody with his bail opposed.
