🚨 MISSING SIBLINGS IN NOVA SCOTIA – LILLY AND JACK SULLIVAN – MOTHER ISSUES HEARTBREAKING PLEA
Nearly six months have passed since six-year-old Lilly Sullivan and four-year-old Jack Sullivan vanished from their home in Lansdowne Station, Nova Scotia. Despite an ongoing investigation and a $150,000 reward for information, the children remain missing, and their family continues to search for answers.
The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) say the siblings were last seen on the morning of May 2, 2025, near their home on Gairloch Road. Authorities initially believed they may have wandered away from the property. Multiple searches have been carried out since, but no trace of the children has been found.
📌 Mother’s Emotional Plea
Malehya Brooks-Murray, the children’s mother, continues to post messages on the Find Lilly and Jack Sullivan Facebook page. Her recent posts reflect the pain and heartbreak of a mother still hoping for her children’s return.
She wrote on October 13: “As a mother I love my children more than life itself and feel so heart broken not being able to hold my two children Lilly and Jack, kiss them, breathe in their scent or tuck them in to bed, dress them, wake up to their sweet smiling faces.”
“The longing I have for them to come home back to me is a greater feeling than I could never imagine feeling or put into words how I am feeling. There is not one single day, minute or second that goes by that I am not thinking about my children,” she continued.
Brooks-Murray added: “Not being able to breathe in their scent when I embrace them tightly. I don’t want these moments to be memories, I want my babies home. My Lilly Mae and Jacky. The pure pain I suffer of just not knowing where they are has impacted my life and my family in the most devastating way.”
“Life feels extremely hard to keep going. With no answers it is just pure lostness, like I can no longer feel at home anymore. No matter how lost I feel I have not given up hope that my children will be returned home to me safe and sound,” she wrote. “I will never stop searching for my children until they are found and brought home safe and sound. Someone, somewhere, knows something so please bring my babies home.”
🕯️ Candlelight Vigil and Continued Search
On October 26, Brooks-Murray shared that a vigil would be held at the Stellarton RCMP Detachment to mark Jack’s fifth birthday on October 29.
RCMP spokesperson Cindy Bayers said on October 21 that investigators had “found no evidence of any vehicle activity at that time. As such, no driver has been identified, and the presence of a vehicle has not been substantiated as a key element in the investigation.”
Witnesses had reported hearing a vehicle near the home, but RCMP said there was no visual confirmation and no supporting evidence from surveillance footage.
🔍 Investigation Ongoing
Daniel Martell, the children’s stepfather, told CBC News that he believes the children were kidnapped. He said they may have slipped out of the house through a sliding back door while he and their mother were in the bedroom with their baby daughter. However, RCMP said no evidence has been found to support the theory of abduction.
Earlier in October, the RCMP confirmed that a renewed search of the Lansdowne Station area and nearby properties did not uncover any human remains. Staff Sergeant Rob McCamon, Officer in Charge (Acting) of Major Crime and Behavioral Sciences, said investigators are pursuing “multiple aspects” of the case simultaneously.
“Each piece of information, including the results from the search teams, helps inform our next steps. With support from agencies across Canada, the investigative team is working to validate or eliminate leads and follow the evidence wherever it takes us,” McCamon said. “At this stage, and as we’ve said all along, we’re considering all possibilities. We’ll keep going until we determine, with certainty, the circumstances of the children’s disappearance and they’re found.”
Anyone with information is urged to contact the Nova Scotia RCMP or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
