π¨ EDMONTON POLICE RELEASE AI IMAGE TO IDENTIFY DECEASED WOMAN FOUND IN BIN
The Edmonton Police Service (EPS) is seeking the publicβs help to identify a woman who was found deceased in central Edmonton in December 2024. Investigators have now released an AI-generated image showing an approximate likeness of the unidentified female, hoping to generate new leads.
Police say that on December 29, 2024, they received a report of a deceased female discovered inside a waste disposal bin near Bellamy Hill Road. Surveillance video from the morning of December 28 shows the woman walking alone northbound up an alley between 99 Avenue and Bellamy Hill before climbing into the bin. Her death is not considered suspicious.

- Clothing: Brown puffer jacket and brown boots

On March 27, 2025, the EPS Missing Persons Unit released sketches of the woman, an image of her tattoo, and stock photos of her jacket and boots. Police have now shared an AI-generated image to help the public recognize her.
Despite traditional identification methods, investigators have not been able to determine who she was. Police continue to appeal for assistance to give this woman her name back.
