The Edmonton Police Service continues to seek the public’s assistance in locating missing 58-year-old Ali Jabril.
Ali Jabril was last seen walking in the area of 66 Street and 131A Avenue on Friday, Dec. 2, 2022 at approximately 3 p.m., and police have now obtained surveillance images of him at a convenience store in that area. He was previously reported last seen in the same area on the morning of Thursday, Dec. 1, 2022.
He is described as a 5’8” tall Black male with a medium build and black hair. He was last seen wearing the black and grey plaid winter jacket.
Police have been canvassing the area for video and information from anyone who may know Jabril, and are asking residents of the area, in particular the Delwood, Balwin and Belvedere neighbourhoods, to check their security cameras for any images of the missing man.
Anyone with video or information regarding Jabril’s whereabouts is asked to contact the EPS at 780-423-4567 or #377 from a mobile phone. Anonymous information can also be submitted to Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or online at www.p3tips.com/250.
At this time, there are no indications that Jabril’s disappearance is criminal in nature. Due to the duration of his absence and a lack of any banking and electronic activity, police continue to be concerned for his welfare.
