The family of Jodine Millar are asking for the public’s assistance in locating their loved one.
Jodine Millar is believed to have left her residence near Rochester Avenue and Decaire Street in Coquitlam on Saturday, November 26, 2022 around 6:30 p.m. In a media release from November 28, 2022 Coquitlam RCMP advised that Jodine was believed to be driving her brown 2011 Hyundai Tucson with Manitoba licence plates FXU195.
On Monday, November 28, 2022 shortly after 8:50 p.m. Abbotsford Police responded to a single-vehicle collision east-bound on Highway 1 at No. 3 Road in Abbotsford involving Jodine’s vehicle. Jodine Millar was not located with her vehicle.
“It seems like I’m discussing a horrible movie and not real life. My mom is missing,” said Jodine Millar’s daughter, Sara in a letter from the family. “We were very close, closer than she was with anyone else anyways. I am extremely concerned for her well being and mental state.”
“Jodine’s number one priority has always been her dog, Molly,” said Jodine Millar’s daughter, Sara. “For her to leave Molly behind, to me is the most obvious sign that something is very wrong.”
Jodine is described as:
Caucasian female
Green eyes
Light-Brown or dirty blonde shoulder-length hair
5’7 tall
Slim build
Jodine was last seen wearing:
Glasses
Black parka jacket
Black ski pants
Grey hiking shoes
“Since Jodine’s disappearance, the Vancouver Lower Mainland has experienced significant snowfall and cold temperatures which increases our concern for Jodine Millar,” said Media Relations Officer, Corporal Alexa Hodgins. “With more expected snowfall, Coquitlam RCMP is asking the public for assistance in providing any information regarding Jodine Millar and her whereabouts.”
Police are asking anyone who may have seen Jodine or have information on her whereabouts to call the Coquitlam RCMP at 604-945-1550 and quote file number 2022-31412.
