🚨 Cold Case – Missing Woman in Edmonton, Alberta – Magdalene “Maggie” Oerlemans, 43 – Missing Since July 2022
The Edmonton Police Service continues to seek the public’s help in locating Magdalene Mae “Maggie” Oerlemans, a 43-year-old Indigenous woman who vanished in the summer of 2022. EPS File #CA23-250822.
Maggie was last tracked to her apartment at Astoria Greens in north Edmonton. Due to substance-use challenges and periods of being out of contact, her family did not realize she was missing until March 2023. Maggie is a mother of four and described by loved ones as having a big, infectious laugh despite her small stature.
One of the last known actions on her phone was a 5 a.m. call/voicemail left for her boyfriend Stephen Kashman, who was in custody at the time. He died before police could interview him. Investigators hope he may have shared information with friends or acquaintances.
Police are also trying to locate a 2007 black Mazda 6S with Alberta licence plate CDP-1006 that Maggie may have had access to, as well as determine why she visited an acquaintance in the Capilano area (southeast Edmonton) days before disappearing.
