UPDATE (1:46 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 6): Police continue their search for an 89-year-old Minden Hills Township man last seen on Saturday, Dec. 3 in Minden area.
Haliburton OPP are asking the public to check their property, especially the more rural, remote and seasonal properties for any sign of Joseph McGee or his dark green Subaru Outback.
McGee was last seen driving a dark green Subaru Outback with Ontario license plate BTSY 146 on Saturday, Dec. 3, in the Minden area.
On Sunday, Dec. 4 at 5:05 p.m., Haliburton Highlands OPP are seeking the public’s assistance with regards to a report of a missing person from Minden Hills Township.
Missing is Joseph McGee, 89, of Minden Hills Township, described as a white man, 5-foot-10, approximately 180 pounds, balding, with short grey hair and beard, and blue eyes.
He is possibly wearing black boots with no laces, blue jeans, a white sweatshirt with the word “cutty” on the chest, with a blue collared shirt underneath, a blue fleece jacket with a gold band across the chest and an Ottawa Senators ball cap.
He was last seen driving a dark green Subaru Outback with Ontario license plate BTSY 146 on Saturday, Dec. 3, in the Minden area.
Police are concerned for his well-being and are asking anyone who may information on the whereabouts of the missing male or his vehicle, since Dec. 3, to contact the Haliburton Highlands OPP detachment at 1-888-310-1122.
