Investigators are putting out warrants for two more suspects in connection with an alleged attack on Elnaz Hajtamiri in Richmond Hill, which happened weeks before her kidnapping.
The attack happened on December 20, 2021 at an underground parking garage on King William Crescent, near Yonge Street and Bantry Avenue.
According to York police, Hajtamiri was attacked with a frying pan. She was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Three suspects were identified and arrested in 2022. A fourth person was arrested in February 2023. A fifth person was charged on March 1.
Two more suspects have been identified, and are the subjects of Canada-wide warrants.
Jaspreet Singh, 24, of Delta, B.C. (above, left), and Sukhpreet Singh, 23, of Mississauga (above, right), are each wanted for aggravated assault and conspiracy to commit an indictable offence.
There is still a $100,000 reward for information on the January 2022 abduction of Hajtamiri in Wasaga Beach.
Investigators say she was taken away by three suspects in fake police gear in a white Lexus RX SUV.
A warrant was issued last week for Deshawn Davis, 35, of Toronto, in connection with the kidnapping.
