🎉 Calgary Police Recognize Courageous Youth for Saving Missing Child

Quick thinking, big impact! 🎉🏆

On August 21, District 5 Inspector Plamondon and Staff Sergeant Saad recognized Ryder, a courageous youth, for his quick thinking during a critical incident.

Back in May, when a child with a medical condition went missing near his neighbourhood, Ryder didn’t hesitate. He grabbed his scooter and searched until he found the child, staying with him until help arrived.

Ryder’s bravery, empathy, and sense of responsibility helped prevent a tragedy. He truly embodies the spirit of community service. 💙
