A 13-year-old girl reported that she was approached by an unknown male on Sunday afternoon in Clarington.
On Sunday, December 9, 2018, at approximately 4:00 p.m., the girl was walking her dog along a sidewalk in the Prestonvale Road and Claret Road area of Courtice when she was approached by an unknown male. He had exited a vehicle parked on the side of the road and tried to speak to her about her dog. He told her he had a dog and asked if she would like to come to his home to see it. She ran from the man and immediately went home to tell her parents. Police were called and are investigating this incident.
The unknown male is described as male, white, approximately 25 years old, with a slim build and about 6′ tall. His vehicle is described as a dark coloured four-door sedan.
