The Kamloops RCMP Detachment is renewing its appeal for public assistance in the investigation surrounding Shannon White’s disappearance.
Ms. White is believed to have left her home in Lower Sahali around 8 a.m. on Monday morning, Nov. 1, 2021. She was supposed to be at her job at the Notre Dame Drive Hyundai for 8:30 a.m., but she never arrived. The next day, her vehicle was located parked on Nicola Street near 3rd Avenue.
“Although Shannon’s Jeep was located in Kamloops, there is a chance she could have left the city before her vehicle was located on Nov. 2,” said Corporal Dave Marshall, Kamloops RCMP Serious Crimes Unit. “If you have seen someone you think may be Shannon, don’t dismiss it; contact police as soon as possible.”
Ms. White’s disappearance is extremely out of character for her and is being treated as suspicious.
Along with information pertaining to Ms. White’s whereabouts, police are asking anyone who may have seen her or her Jeep on Monday Nov. 1, or may have residential, commercial or dash cam video surveillance in the Lower Sahali, Notre Dame, and downtown areas, to please contact Kamloops RCMP if they have not already.
