OTTAWA POLICE SERVICE is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 66-year-old man Bela.

Bela was last seen on April 1 at 4:22 a.m. in the 300-400 block of Bell Street. There are concerns about his wellbeing.

• Age: 66
• Gender: Male
• Height: 6’2” (188 cm)
• Weight: Approximately 195 lbs (88 kg)
• Hair: Balding
• Last Seen Wearing: Green knit sweater, black winter coat, black pants, black shoes and bright yellow socks
• Last Seen: April 1, 2026 at 4:22 a.m. in the 300-400 block of Bell Street, Ottawa

Bela has a medical condition that may leave him confused or disoriented, and he may have sought shelter.

Police are asking residents and businesses in the Bell Street South, Carling Avenue, and Bronson Avenue areas to please check your yards, sheds, garages, and out-buildings.
