Quebec City police found a man’s body in the woods near the Laurentian highway on Friday night as they were searching for a septuagenarian who went missing last week.
Officers from the Research Support Unit and police dogs discovered the body around 7:30 p.m.
An autopsy conducted on Saturday morning identified the body as that of Carol Drolet, who was reported missing by his family on June 6. His cause of death has yet to be confirmed
Quebec City police had deployed a team on Argon St. in the Charlesbourg borough as part of the search for Drolet. Leads in the investigation caused them to believe he had gone to the area.
The Quebec police have just published a notice of search to find Carol Drolet, 75 years old.
It is missing and it could be in the north of Charlesbourg. His family fears for his safety.
