A man reported missing in Niagara Falls, who was believed to be in the Hamilton and Stoney Creek area, has been found dead.

Police had been hoping to confirm the welfare of 62-year-old Jaye Aird, who disappeared more than a month ago.

They say out of respect for Aird’s next of kin, no further details about his death will be released at this time.

The Niagara Regional Police Service is requesting the assistance of the public in locating a Niagara Falls resident, who has been reported missing.
Police are looking to confirm the welfare of 62 year old Jaye Aird, depicted in the attached photograph, as family and friends report last having spoken with Jaye approximately 4-5 weeks ago.  It is believed that he may be in the Hamilton/Stoney Creek area.
Investigators are asking that anyone that may have information pertaining to the missing male, contact Detective Sergeant Mike Baxter at 905-688-4111; option #3, badge #9994.
