Police are investigating after a 10-year-old girl reported an older male attempted to lure her into a vehicle this morning.
On Thursday, September 19, 2019, at approximately 8:00 a.m., a 10-year-old female reported she was walking in the area of Carnwith Drive West and Montgomery Avenue in Brooklin when she was approached by a male in an older silver pickup truck. The male asked the female to get into his vehicle. The female declined and ran to her school to tell staff there.
Police would like to speak to anyone who may have been in the area at the time or may have witnessed anything suspicious.
The suspect is described as: male, white, mid 30’s, slim build.
The suspect vehicle is described as: a silver older Dodge pickup which was last seen heading westbound on Carnwith Drive.
