A missing 73-year-old Brampton woman who hadn’t been seen since Thursday was found safe Sunday.
Carole Berry had been last seen around 10:30 a.m. in the area of Hurontario St. and Elgin Dr. Peel police said a citizen found the woman and called paramedics. She’s since been treated in hospital and reunited with her family.
According to her daughter Susan Berry, her mother said she was stepping out for some air on that morning, and headed out in her car.
Her efforts to find her mother were shared among family, friends and community members of Brampton, who spent the last few days in groups searching.
