Montreal police say Kelly Martin Nolet, a 16-year-old girl who disappeared from her home in Laval on Friday, has been found in Montreal.
Nolet has vanished before — in 2016, she was one of several young women who disappeared from a Laval group home, sparking a debate about how the province cares for those placed in group homes.
This past Friday, she left her Laval home to meet a friend, but she never made it. Her family had been concerned for her health and safety, because of her history.
The Journal de Montreal had reported she may have been on her way to Toronto to become an escort, but there’s been no confirmation from either the Montreal or Laval police forces about the report.
Missing: Kelle Martin, 16. Is 5'5", with blonde hair,( which may be dyed red or purple).
Believed to be in the Lake Shore West/ Park Lawn area.
