A man with Alzheimer’s disease reported missing over the weekend has been found, Winnipeg police say.
Fred Copp, 74, was reported missing Saturday after last reported seen near Portage Avenue and Westwood Drive.
On Monday morning, police confirmed he had been located.
Winnipeg police are asking for the public’s help locating a missing 74-year-old man.
Fred Copp was last seen on Saturday at about 9:50 a.m. around Portage Avenue and Westwood Drive.
Police said Copp has Alzheimer’s disease and they are concerned for his well-being.
Copp is described as six-feet-tall and about 200 pounds with a heavy build. He has grey hair, a bushy beard and green eyes. Copp was last seen wearing a grey fedora-style hat, black leather jack and blue jeans. Copp walks with a cane.
