Police are reporting developments in the case of a missing Markham man whose cell phone pinged a tower in North Bay around the time he went missing last October.
The OPP says that a vehicle registered to Eugene Kim has been located near Huntsville and that human remains have been found inside. The identity of the deceased has not been determined and a post-mortem examination will be performed in the coming days.
Kim had been the subject of an intensive search after his family reported that the husband and father had not returned home as scheduled. He had last been seen buying a pass to enter Algonquin Park with an unknown person.
