The New Westminster Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in the search for missing person Morteza Nazari.
Mr. Nazari was last seen on August 2nd at approximately 6:00 pm in New Westminster. Mr. Nazari is described as a 29 year old male, standing 5’3” tall, with an athletic build. Mr. Nazari has a shaved head, stubble on his face and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, navy blue t-shirt, navy or black track pants, and silver running shoes. Mr. Nazari has been known to frequent Vancouver’s Downtown Eastside neighbourhood.
“Family members are very concerned for the well-being of Mr. Nazari,” stated Sergeant Justine Thom. “We’re asking that anyone who knows the whereabouts of Mr. Nazari to call 9-1-1 immediately.”
