The Nanaimo RCMP renew their request for the public’s assistance to locate 48-year-old Aaron Akey of Nanaimo who has not been seen since late-April 2022.
Mr. Akey is described as Caucasian, 5’7 with a medium build, short brown hair and blue eyes. When last seen, he was bearded. Mr. Akey is unhoused and has been known to travel on foot between communities on south and central Vancouver Island. He is prone to staying at shelters and may also camp in the wilderness.
His family and the RCMP are concerned for Mr. Akey’s well-being and request the public’s assistance in finding him. If you come across someone matching Mr. Akey’s description, please contact the Nanaimo RCMP at 250-754-2345 and quote file number 2022-24051.
