Update, October 21, 2023: The Codiac Regional RCMP is continuing to search for 47-year-old Shawn Snowden, who was last seen on September 8, 2023. Police have obtained a new photo of Shawn Snowden, and are now releasing it to the public in hopes that it may help locate him. Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to contact the Codiac Regional RCMP at 506-857-2400.

The Codiac Regional RCMP is asking for the public’s help locating a missing 47-year-old man from Moncton, N.B.
Shawn Sowden was last seen on September 8, 2023, on High Street in Moncton. He was reported missing to police on October 6, 2023. Police have followed up on several leads to try and locate him, but have so far been unsuccessful. Police and his family are concerned for his well-being.
Shawn Sowden is described as being approximately five feet ten inches (177 centimeters) tall, and weighing between 180 pounds (81 kilograms) to 220 pounds (99 kilograms). He is described as having blue eyes and balding grey and white hair. He wears glasses and has large scar on the back of his head. No clothing description is available.
