Colchester Districtl RCMP is investigating an incident involving a suspicious man who approached two female youths on March 22 at approximately 2:30 p.m. on Burris Dr.
The driver of the vehicle is described as a a white man in his fifties or sixties, with dyed black hair, freckles, a thin-haired goatee, and wearing a navy blue ball cap. He stopped his gold or light-brown coloured van beside two young girls, waved them over and asked them to get into his van. The girls refused and ran to their nearby home without further incident. No one was injured.
The van is similar to a Dodge Caravan and had stacks of black garbage bags in the back seats. A licence plate number was not obtained. The investigation is ongoing.
