It’s been almost a month since a three year old boy was swept away in the Grand River, and still no sign of him.
OPP searched with teams on land and in the air for weeks, and each day volunteer searchers gather in the Waldemar area to start out looking for him.
In the early hours of February 21st, Kaden Young slipped from his mother’s grip after she tried to escape their van when it was pulled by floodwaters into the river.
They need lots of volunteers again this week to scour the shoreline and the plan is to head south towards Belwood Lake.
Anyone who wants to help is asked to check in and out at 9 Mill Street in Amaranth.
