The search for 45-year-old missing person Sara Sherry will be continuing this weekend among the logging roads and deep back country located south of Highway 19 and Northwest Bay Logging Road in Nanoose Bay.
The search is being led and coordinated by Arrowsmith Search and Rescue who will be searching the area on Saturday and Sunday.
Sara Sherry’s truck was located on a logging road by searchers on February 23, however Sara was not located with or near the truck and bad weather since that time hampered continuing search efforts.
“Unfortunately, we have received no further information as to Sara’s whereabouts since her truck was located,” says Sergeant Shane Worth of the Oceanside RCMP. “As the last known location for Sara would have been with her truck, searchers will be focusing their efforts within that area.”
