A four-month missing person case has been closed.
An autopsy has revealed the remains found in a vehicle in a wooded area near Bangor, SK on Monday is Ruby Barnes. The 64-year-old woman was reported missing from the Carlyle area on June 18.
RCMP say the family has been notified and the death is not considered suspicious.
Carlyle RCMP Staff Sergeant Darren Simons said in an interview earlier this week that the evidence currently collected suggests a tragic accident.
