Prince Albert police and volunteers will conduct an extensive search for a missing four-year-old boy beginning in the area he was last seen.
Sweetgrass Kennedy was last seen Thursday in a park on the 900 block of Second Street E. just after 10 p.m. CST.
Volunteers are being asked to meet at the East End Community Club at 2nd Street and 10th Avenue E. All searchers should be prepared to formally register and produce photo ID.
Each area examined will be formally documented to make sure no areas are missed.
Before the formal search, hundreds of people were canvassing in unofficial groups.
Police have opened a command centre to bring agencies together and effectively use resources.
Police are asking the public to review any home or business surveillance video taken after 3 p.m. Thursday in an effort to locate the boy.
Sweetgrass Kennedy is three-feet-five-inches tall, weighs 45 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes.
He was last wearing a light blue Star Wars hoodie and orange Halloween pyjama pants.
While police are very concerned, they are not treating the boy’s disappearance as suspicious.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Prince Albert Police Service at 306-953-4222.
