UPDATE: As of 3:07 p.m. the Saskatchewan RCMP issued a release stating that both Michael Bouvier and Jasmin Iron have been located. Iron ‘is safe and being assessed by EMS personnel’, while Bouier has been taken into custody.

On May 15, 2025 at approximately 11:00 p.m., Loon Lake RCMP received a report that a woman was potentially being held against her will on Island Lake First Nation (Ministikwan).
Officers immediately responded. Investigation determined that 24-year-old Jasmine Iron is believed to be in the company of a male, who is armed with a firearm. They are believed to be travelling in a black Dodge Caravan van with a deflated front tire, with Saskatchewan license plate 580 LXY. They may be heading towards the Loon Lake area, but their current whereabouts are unknown.
Loon Lake RCMP are actively working to locate Jasmine to determine her safety and are asking members of the public to report all sightings of her and information on her whereabouts.
Jasmine is described as 5’6” tall, 110 lbs, with brown eyes, and light-brown dyed hair. She was last seen with her hair in a ponytail and wearing a burgundy-coloured hoodie, blue jeans, and black and white Converse runners. She has a tattoo of a feather on her forearm with script.
The male she is believed to be with is described as 24-years-old. He is approximately 5’7” tall and 215 lbs. He has brown eyes and black hair.

Officers from other Saskatchewan RCMP detachments, and the Saskatchewan RCMP Critical Incident Response Team, are assisting. Residents in the area will notice an increased police presence.
We will provide an update on this investigation as soon as we are able. If an imminent risk to public safety is identified, we will notify the public.
