Police warn people not to approach Gerald Mitchell, who was reported missing April 16

North Vancouver RCMP want to find Gerald Mitchell; he was last seen April 2, but wasn’t reported missing until April 16.

“Police do not believe he is a risk to the public, but are concerned for his wellbeing,” Mounties state in a press release.

They are also looking for his vehicle, a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado.

“Gerald Mitchell may be in possession of a hunting rifle,” notes the RCMP. “Anyone who believes they see him or who spots his vehicle is advised not to approach and to immediately call 911.”

Mitchell is described as a 69-year-old Caucasian male standing about 6 feet tall and weighing around 194 lbs. He has sandy hair and grey eyes. The pickup truck is brown with the BC license plate 2202LH.
