The West Shore RCMP is currently investigating a report of an attempted abduction that took place in the parking lot of Shoppers Drug Mart (West Shore Town Centre), located at 300-2945 Jacklin Rd in Langford.
On November 14th between 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. a 17-year-old female was leaning into the back seat of her own vehicle when a male suspect approached her from behind and shoved her fully into the back seat and closed the door.
Another male suspect then approached the vehicle and attempted to gain entry to the driver’s side door while the victim was inside the car. The victim reacted quickly and hit the lock button on her key fob preventing the male from entering her car.
