Montreal police (SPVM) have established a command post in downtown Montreal and are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing 26-year-old man who disappeared without a trace on April 21.

The individual in question is Sridhar Nidamanuri, who was last seen at the intersection of Maisonneuve Boulevard and Guy Street. Concerns have prompted the Telugu community to come forward on Wednesday night, hoping that someone might have information about his whereabouts.

Sridhar Nidamanuri is described as standing at 5’8″ and weighing approximately 175 pounds. He is fluent in English and his native Telugu language. He has black hair, brown eyes, and was last seen wearing a red sweater with white stripes and grey shorts.

Members of his community have shared that Nidamanuri’s family in India reached out to them in order to seek assistance from the SPVM.

“He’s the only son in his family, and his parents are extremely worried, urging us to take action,” said Naseer Mehdi Khan of the India-Canada Organization Inc.

The SPVM is urging anyone who may have spotted the young man to contact the police immediately.

“He has not been in contact with his family, which is out of character for him,” stated SPVM spokesperson Veronique Dubuc. “Additionally, it appears that he left his residence suddenly.”

The cooperation of the public in providing any information or sightings related to Sridhar Nidamanuri is greatly appreciated by both the Montreal police and his concerned family and community.
