🚨 Missing Woman Last Seen February 29, 2016 in Wuskwi Sipihk, Manitoba: Lorlene Bone, 31 (Cold Case)

Lorlene Bone, a 31-year-old woman from Wuskwi Sipihk Cree Nation (Indian Birch First Nation), was last heard from on February 29, 2016, when she made her final phone call home. She was officially reported missing to Swan River RCMP on March 9, 2016.

At the time of her disappearance, Lorlene had traveled approximately 30 km northeast to the Sapotaweyak Cree Nation with a man she had recently started dating. Concern for her safety arose after she failed to contact her mother, which was uncharacteristic. She also failed to pick up her social assistance cheque on March 10, further deepening concerns. Her family now believes she is likely deceased, but her case remains an open missing person investigation.

Sgt. Steve Henson of Swan River RCMP, who has been involved in the case since the beginning, stated, “This investigation has really had an impact on me… I want to be able to provide answers to her family.” Despite numerous searches and tips over the years, Lorlene’s whereabouts remain unknown.
