🚨 Missing Woman in Chetwynd, British Columbia — Harmony Brown-Desjarlais, 30
Police officers in the Chetwynd area are searching for a woman who called to report an assault but who they haven’t been able to contact since.
According to a press release from the Chetwynd RCMP detachment, on Thursday, August 21st, Harmony Brown-Desjarlais called to report she had been assaulted and was headed to a local hospital.
Police claim they were notified immediately, but have been unable to locate Brown-Desjarlais in the days since her call. Officers believe she’s been in contact with family and friends via social media, but they’ve been unable to reach her and confirm her wellbeing.
Brown-Desjarlais is described as a 30-year-old Indigenous woman standing five-feet-three-inches tall and weighing 115 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
She’s believed to be somewhere in the Peace region — specifically, in the Chetwynd, Dawson Creek or Fort St. John areas.
Anyone with information regarding Brown-Desjarlais’ whereabouts is urged to contact the Chetwynd RCMP detachment at 250-788-9221.
