RCMP have identified the human remains that were found earlier this month outside of North Battleford.
They’ve been identified as 20-year-old Nitanas Scarlett who was reported missing back on Aug. 7, 2023.
She was last seen in North Battleford on July 4, 2023.
Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes is still trying to determine who cause of death with investigators believing it was suspicious in nature.
Anyone with information about her whereabouts in and around July or her death is asked to contact RCMP at 639-625-4535 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).

Battlefords RCMP are asking for help to find a missing woman who was last seen more than a month ago.
Nitanas Scarlett, 20, was last seen on the 900 Block of 110th Street in North Battleford on the morning of June 28th. She was reported missing to RCMP on Monday.
She stands 5-foot-4 and weighs 140 pounds with long brown hair, a nose piercing, and braces on her teeth. She also has several visible tattoos including a dragon with flowers on her forearm.
Scarlett is known to frequent North Battleford and the Moosomin First Nation.
