Battlefords RCMP requests assistance from the public in locating 44-year-old Cara Rae Weeseekase (also goes by Cara Bear and Marcella Iron) who was reported missing to police on Thursday, March 30, 2023.
Cara was last seen at the Beaver Hotel in North Battleford on February 22, 2023, at approximately 6:30 p.m. when she departed on foot advising she was going to the casino. Initial investigation has determined Cara never made it to her destination. The casino is approximately 3 kilometres from the hotel along Railway Avenue East.
Cara is described as a 5’6″ tall female, weighing approximately 135 lbs. She has brown hair and brown eyes.
Cara is known to the Meadow Lake area and may also have connections to the Loon Lake area.
Since Cara was reported missing to police, Battlefords RCMP have been conducting neighbourhood inquiries, investigating areas where Cara may have visited, and are following-up on any information which may assist in locating her.
