🚨 Surrey Senior William (Bill) Haworth, Missing Since August 27, Found Deceased
The search for a missing Surrey senior with dementia has ended in sorrow after William (Bill) Haworth was found but pronounced deceased on Monday night (Sept. 8), Surrey Police Service confirmed in a Tuesday morning (Sept. 9) release.
His family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the community and the many volunteers who searched tirelessly and left no stone unturned in an effort to bring Bill home, said a news release set on behalf of the family.
“Seeing the community step up to help find Bill meant the world to us. We cannot thank you enough for your support, kindness, and determination,” said the family.
At this time, the family is requesting privacy.
“Thank you everyone who went above and beyond to support Bill’s family during this very difficult experience. The love and dedication of people in our community to step up for each other is amazing,” said a post from the admin of a Facebook group that had been set up to coordinate search efforts.
The SPS also thanked the public for their assistance in trying to locate him.
