The Vancouver Police Department is asking for the public’s help to locate a missing 84-year-old man who suffers from dementia. Jose Aguirre lives near Commercial Drive and East 16th Avenue and was last seen at his home at approximately 10:00 a.m. on September 11, 2026. He likes to visit Clark Park, just north of his home, and he also frequents Famous Foods on Kingsway near Dumfries Street.

- Build: Slim
- Hair: Short grey
- Other: Hispanic; salt-and-pepper beard; eyeglasses; suffers from dementia
- Last Seen Wearing: Red sweater, a shirt with red and grey squares, grey pants; may also be wearing brown slippers
- Last Seen: September 11, 2026 at approximately 10:00 a.m. at his home near Commercial Drive and East 16th Avenue, Vancouver
