The 83-year-old man who was reported missing on December 13, 2023 has sadly been located deceased. The RCMP offers its condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.

Port Alberni RCMP are seeking public’s assistance in locating 83 year old Missing Person, Brian Watkins.
Watkins is 83 years old and suffers from Dementia. Watkins is described as 5’11” tall, 174lbs, short grey hair, blue eyes, and wears black rimmed glasses.
Watkins was last seen driving in the Lakeshore Road area, in Port Alberni on December 13, 2023 at approximately 9pm. Watkins drives a green Pontiac Sunfire, BC license plate 742 DHH.
If you have CCTV from your home or business in the Lakeshore Rd area or dash camera footage in the area of Lakeshore Road from 8:45pm onward on December 13 2023, please call Port Alberni RCMP at 250-723-2424.
