Authorities are currently conducting a search for an elderly man who was last seen in Hope on Tuesday.
Hope RCMP is seeking public assistance in locating 89-year-old Leslie Desfosses from Saanich. Desfosses was last seen in Hope on May 16 around 4:30 p.m. while en route to Lytton.
Sergeant Mike Sargent of the Upper Fraser Valley RCMP expressed concerns for Leslie’s well-being, stating, “Police and family are very concerned for Leslie’s well-being.”
Desfosses is described as a 6’2″ individual weighing 179 pounds. He has white hair and blue eyes, wearing glasses. At the time of his disappearance, he was wearing a purple t-shirt, brown shorts, and brown sandals. He was driving a grey 2012 Subaru Forester with the license plate 925SLA.
