A missing 55-year-old man has been found dead.
On Tuesday morning, the Winnipeg Police Service announced that Andrew Sherritt was found deceased.
This news comes the day after police asked the public for help to find Sherritt, who had last been seen on Monday morning in the River East area.
Police did not provide further information on the situation, including a cause for Sherritt’s death.

The Winnipeg Police Service is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a missing 55-year-old male, Andrew SHERRITT.
SHERRITT was last seen in the River East area of Winnipeg, Manitoba on Monday, September 18 at 8:00am.
SHERRITT is described as male, 5’11” in height, medium build, short brown/blonde hair with facial hair, blue eyes and glasses. SHERRITT was last seen wearing a black t-shirt, army green cargo pants and black sandals.
