The Regina Police Service (RPS) say the subject of a death investigation over the weekend has been identified as a missing person.
On Sunday at around 9 a.m., emergency personnel responded to the area around McCarthy Boulevard and Brunskill Place for a report of a body in a creek in A.E. Wilson Park.
Officers arrived at the scene and confirmed the person was dead.
RPS has confirmed the deceased as 23-year-old Montana Fehr, who was last seen on Nov. 10, 2024.
His family has been notified, according to police.
RPS is assisting the coroners service in confirming Fehr’s cause of death.
“As such, it is an ongoing investigation; however, it is not evident at this time that there is a criminal aspect to this case,” police said.
