The 28-year-old man from Pokesudie, N.B., who was reported missing to police on August 13, 2023, has been located deceased.
An autopsy will be conducted to determine the man’s exact cause of death. Our thoughts are with the man’s family and community at this time.

The Caraquet RCMP is asking for the public’s help locating a missing 28-year-old man from the community of Pokesudie, N.B.
Zachary Daniel Gillett (Godin) was last seen on August 8, 2023, during the evening hours on Saint-Simon road, near Évangéline. Police have followed up on several leads to try and locate him, but have so far been unsuccessful. Police and his family are concerned for his wellbeing.
Zachary Daniel Gillett (Godin) is described as being approximately five feet eight inches (173 centimetres) tall, and weighing approximately 160 pounds (72 kilograms). He has brown eyes, and black hair. He was last seen wearing white shoes, maroon Puma jogging pants, a black or dark coloured hoodie and a ballcap.
