🚨 Missing Man in Nanaimo, British Columbia – Mahadi Redwan, 23 – Last Seen November 2, 2025
The Nanaimo RCMP is requesting the public’s assistance in locating 23-year-old Mahadi Redwan (File #2025-35331).
Mahadi was last in contact with a friend and colleague in Nanaimo on November 2, 2025. At that time, he mentioned arranging a ride to Courtenay, BC. The following morning, on November 3, 2025, when his ride arrived to pick him up, he was not home. This unexpected absence and lack of contact have raised serious concern for his wellbeing, as it is highly out of character for him.
Surveillance footage shows Mahadi entering and leaving Thrifty Foods at 5801 Turner Road around 8:00 p.m. on November 2. In the video, he is seen wearing dark shoes, blue jeans, a grey hooded shirt with a white/red logo, a black jacket, and a checkered scarf. He was also carrying a dark backpack. Police believe this is the last known sighting of him.
Mahadi is described as being 5’2” tall and weighing approximately 150 lbs, with dark brown hair, eyes, and beard. The provided photo of Mahadi is recent.
