Chilliwack RCMP Corporal Carmen Kiener has confirmed in a statement that the 43-year-old man who was reported missing on Monday, October 14, has sadly been located deceased.
According to a brief statement released Thursday morning (Oct. 17) at 6:26 a.m., police say the cause of his death is not considered suspicious.
Cpl. Kiener said in a statement. “The RCMP offers its condolences to the family and friends of the deceased.”
Welch had been traveling from the Chilliwack area Sunday, Oct. 13 and was heading through Boston Bar on the way to his friend’s ranch near Clinton, B.C., but never made it to his destination that night.

William drives a white 2016 Dodge Ram 3500 pickup, British Columbia license plate RH2686 and was heading to Clinton, BC.
