The Gatineau Police Service has requested public assistance in locating a 47-year-old man who was last seen on Monday afternoon.
A police release on Saturday said officers and the family of Paul Normand “have reason to fear for his health and safety and wish to ensure his well-being.”
The release said Normand had been last seek leaving his residence in the Aylmer sector in a grey Toyota RAV4 bearing Ontario licence plates CMDH 059.
He was described as a white man standing about six feet two inches (1.88 metres) tall and weighing about 230 pounds (104 kilograms) with a medium build and short, brown hair.
When last seen, police added, Normand was wearing a three-quarter-length white coat with fur at the collar; black pants and black shoes.
The release said it was believed Normand could be in Gatineau, Ottawa or the surrounding areas.
