The 48-year-old man from Tracadie, N.B., reported missing on February 25, has been located deceased.
The man’s body was located in a body of water on Tracadie Bay, in Tracadie, at approximately 12:00 p.m. on February 26.
Police do not believe criminality to be a factor in his death.

The Tracadie RCMP is asking for the public’s help locating a missing 48-year-old man from Tracadie, N.B.
Stéphane Thériault was last seen on February 24, 2023, at approximately 12 p.m., at a residence on Allé McGraw in Tracadie, N.B. He was reported missing to police on February 25, 2023. Police have followed up on several leads to try and locate him, but have so far been unsuccessful. Police and his family are concerned for his wellbeing.
Stéphane Thériault is described as being approximately 5 feet 11 inches (180 centimeters) tall, and weighing approximately 260 pounds (118 kilograms). He has dark brown hair and green eyes, and has a tattoo on his left arm.
He was last known to be wearing black FXR snow pants and jacket, a grey skidoo helmet, and may have been traveling on a dark blue and black 2012 Arctic Cat Bearcat 570 snowmobile, with New Brunswick license plate XZ-7693.
